Oldest photo known of the Wairere Boulders
The above picture was taken by D.L Mundy in 1873.  It is at the Auckland Museum.	The above picture was taken at the same place in 2003, unfortunately the big kauri trees have gone.  We are planting them again,  so come in 1'000 years.
